Eric Jackson Memorial Fund

Eric Jackson

Eric Jackson, originally from Cape Town, South Africa, where he first discovered and nurtured his love for the Sea and for diving, moved to Los Angeles to set up his successful computer business with his wife Debbie. His vicinity to Baja gave him the perfect excuse to take Debbie and their son Shane to explore and enjoy the beauty of the Sea of Cortez, where hours in the water would seem like minutes, and at a blink of an eye the sun would be setting, marking the end of yet another gorgeous day. This was Eric's favorite time to be on the water, as many of the fish hiding under the rocks and in the crevices would come out to welcome the darkness, and a display of the riches of the Sea of Cortez would come to life.

Eric's love for life could be witnessed in all that he did, as could his kindness and big heart. The love for his family knew no boundaries, and he will take great pride in watching over Shane as he too sets his mark in this world.

Eric will be greatly missed by many, and our thoughts are with Debbie, Shane and the rest of his family at this most difficult time.

Eric's Family has generously requested that memorial donations be made to SeaWatch to help further the Guardianes Del Mar effort.

Donations to the Eric Jackson Memorial Fund will be processed using PayPal's secure donation processing system. Your personal information will not be shared with any other organization, and your credit card information will remain with the PayPal payment network.
